Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
You may have heard of how well hypnosis works for certain individuals but wonder if this would work for you. There are many myths surrounding hypnosis and as a way of dispelling some of these myths I have included the following description provided by The Mayo Clinic:

The purpose of hypnosis as a therapeutic technique is to help you gain more control over your behavior, emotions or physical well-being. It is also very important to know that as you get into trance, which is the altered state of consciousness, you have total control of your body and you can return to full consciousness at any time you desire.
